
A proud U.S. Navy retired veteran and native Washingtonian, Gina carries with her a deep love for her roots and a heartfelt appreciation for the people, culture, and experiences that shaped her journey.
She serves as a Legal Instrument Examiner with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where she thoughtfully reviews and processes legal documents related to regulatory compliance, permitting, and land use. Gina approaches her work with care, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility, knowing that her efforts contribute to important projects that serve the greater good.
She holds a MBA from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri.
Gina is an active and dedicated member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Gamma Alpha Zeta Chapter, where she embraces the values of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. Through her involvement, she finds joy in giving back, uplifting others, and building meaningful connections.
She is also an active member of the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce where she supports economic empowerment, business development, and community advancement initiatives.
She also serves faithfully at Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship as an usher and a volunteer in the Food Pantry Ministry. Whether welcoming others with a warm smile or helping provide food to families in need, Gina is committed to serving with compassion, kindness, and a genuine heart for others.
Gina is married to Arthur Brown, and together they made the heartfelt decision to relocate to Corpus Christi, Texas to be closer to their son, daughter-in-law, and three beloved grandchildren. Family is at the center of her life, and she treasures every moment spent creating memories, sharing love, and supporting one another.
